If you bought this as it was intended as a sun/beach umbrella it is perfect, so it gets 5 stars. It is lightweight, easy to assemble. It filters bright sun, but doesn't leave you in the dark. If you bought this as a patio umbrella, that is not what it was made for and you need to take care. You cannot leave it up when not using it, as it isn't made for strong winds that may pop up when you are not there. Also, when it rains, it leaks at the top where the 2 pieces of fabric overlap. But then again, it isn't a rain umbrella. I bought this to use as a small patio umbrella understanding all of that. It has stood up well all summer, hasn't faded and I am quite happy with my purchase. The tilt action works well also.
