It was a publicity find and I took a chance. It was worth it. I use the light in motion sensor mode and so far it works great. I've only had to charge the flashlight once (overnight) in the last 6 weeks of average use. It's at the bottom of the stairs and activates when I start walking down the stairs to light the path. So far the motion sensor works great. I was confused at first because it didn't work right away in driving mode. It has a daylight sensor, if it's too bright it won't turn on, which helps save battery life. That's probably something I missed, but I still think the light is worth it. It would be great if the base came in multiple colors or even a metallic finish. Happy with my purchase.
