Repair time: around 15 minutes if you can. , remove the rubber cover, turn the socket with the arrow backwards and remove it with the allen key, remove the Phillips screws, pull up the top to open, disconnect the old potentiometer and pull it out through the cable ties . Install in reverse order - follow correct position of notch. The new potentiometer is not very similar to the old one. It is also intended for side installation. I've attached a photo of the old and new side by side so you can see the differences. However, it was the perfect replacement and it works great. I love to save on post-warranty car repairs.
