Review on Toyota 90910 09129 Water Drain Assembly by Garrett Craven

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works perfectly. Take this number to your local Toyota dealer.

Revain is too expensive with a delivery time of six to nine weeks. Go to your local Toyota dealer and give them the part number, which will save you a few bucks and a lot of time. Even if you have a Lexus, it's a Toyota engine. You will need it if you plan to change the coolant at least once. My car had one valve in the rear bank of cylinders, and in front - just one plug. This makes collecting the coolant very difficult. I lost a few cups of coolant after unplugging before I could reattach the faucet, but I managed to collect most of it through the pipe into a container. I still had to clean up the mess but it was way better than it could have been. It's hard to believe my car had a faucet on one side and a plug on the other, but it did. I'm pretty sure the coolant was never changed even though the car is six years old. If you have two stubs, you need two of them. The new faucet came with thread sealant from the factory, so I just screwed it in and it seals perfectly. The next coolant change will be much easier. And a lot less messy.
