If you attach them to the wall with a spirit level, the pictures will hang straight. I hang a lot of pictures and they work better than most I've used.

The small size is practically useless. I have the large size with 3 nails. It is difficult to hang the wire on very small hooks. Nails are easy to pull out of the wall. Only suitable for very light objects

Does not work on center braced canvas. You should be able to center the frame on the "hook". Also needs 3 nails! That's a lot of holes that need patching. Also, I would suggest using an "aligner" to make sure the hanger is straight.

So far I've only used them to hang a fairly large painting. Very easy to install and attach to the wall. Easier than most to securely attach wire to hang a picture. So far it seems very safe. i am a convert

I've put off using this PairMount picture hanger because I don't have any new pictures to hang. So I removed my existing typical nail in the wall and hung the picture again. Well it's as easy as advertised. I followed the simple instructions and voila. My picture was hung And straight. Since the supplied nails can only be nailed one way, measuring is not necessary. These durable hangers are very easy to use. I still used the spike finder and hammered it in the spike, old habits never die. There is a groove/slide on the back between the hook and the flap. Just make sure the flap/plastic stand is flush with the wall before placing the wire. I installed a 50lb wall mirror and it seems pretty sturdy at the moment. My only concern is how high quality or durable the plastic is ie. How strong are the hooks? I definitely don't want the hooks to break easily. what
