Bought for my mom for Christmas. She gets a lot of value from scanning prescriptions into her computer. I bought a larger microSD card to fit more, otherwise it's a great little scanner. I wish it had come with a holdall for better storage but oh well. It is recommended to calibrate regularly using the white instruction sheet. This should be the first thing you scan before doing anything else. You'll have to do a little trial and error to find the best way to scan. I've found that scanning to you (top of page down) works best. Scanning books is a different story. To do this, follow the instructions. It's possible, just a little more difficult. The quality of the scans is pretty good. I bought it mainly for its ease of use and fast scanning. Also pay attention to .pdf or .jpg settings. We scanned everything into .pdf. Be sure to update this setting each time you turn on the scanner.
