Review on ๐Ÿ” Accurate Radon Detection with AccuStar Charcoal Short 48 96 by Larry Morris

Absolutely useless, do not buy this product

I followed all the instructions verbatim and did a 48-hour short-term test, the temperature was 70 degrees and humidity 50%, good weather. I received my results in a can and they were invalidated due to excessive weight gain, which means the high humidity has affected the device and the test needs to be repeated. My basement is dry, I couldn't do anything else and I have no choice but to pay and repeat the test. Also, you have to call the number when you start the test, I was ordered to ship the canister to a different address than the one on the prepaid shipping label, so I had to pay extra for shipping that should have been included . This product is totally useless and I feel like I was robbed of $25 plus the additional shipping cost I had to pay. I do not recommend this product. The problem with a short test device like this is that it can and most likely will give you either a false positive or false negative reading because radon levels vary so widely. If you're worried about radon and want one less thing to potentially kill you, let Airthings Wave take long and continuous measurements.
