Great hair dryer for curly hair

I love this hair dryer with built in diffuser and multiple speeds and temperatures to style my short curly hair. I've been using it for six months now and it's still working great. The diffuser is the main star of the show for me. If you have curly hair, too much flow will only mess up your hair. This diffuser is "built-in". Although it can be removed and replaced with a hub, the connection is seamless and doesn't allow air to enter from behind, giving you full flow through the diffuser. The diffuser distributes the airflow evenly across the width of the front, giving you the best drying performance without a nozzle. I use styling gel and a wide tooth comb to style my hair while it dries. The hair dryer has two airflow speeds and three temperatures, as well as a heat-off button. There are two switches on the handle. They are well placed: they don't get in the way and are easy to change with a quick flick of the thumb. The bottom switch has three positions for temperature control (low, medium, high). The top switch is off, low flow and high flow. You can adjust it for any combination of heat and flow. I've had to use a low flow with other hair dryers, but the diffuser works so well in this one that I mostly use it at high flow and high heat, which speeds up drying time. The hair dryer heats up almost instantly and cools down quickly. The heat off button is located above the two switches on top of the handle. Press once to pull out and turn off the heat. Press the button again to turn off the no-heat mode. It's important to note that while the No Heat button is pressed, the heat settings on the bottom switch will not work (this is how the hair dryer works), even after turning the hair dryer off and on again. You need to press the button to turn on without heating and press again to return to normal mode. It's not that obvious to tell if a key is pressed or not, you have to get used to how it feels to say it. I'll take a little more time to describe how the button works without the heater because I've noticed in some of the other reviews that people have complained about the heater not working. I think it's because if you don't understand that the "No Heat" button is on, you might not understand why you don't get heat when you change the bottom heater switch. When the non-heating mode is off, the heating mode will change momentarily when the bottom switch is used. So if you're not getting heat as expected, check the No Heat button. Note that there isn't much of a difference between the temperature on the no-heat button and the minimum heat setting on the bottom switch, so you can use the switch and ignore the button if you like. I think the button is just a way to quickly switch between hot and cold. There is a filter on the back that can be removed and cleaned with a simple twist. The dryer is a little heavy, but I'm not super strong and that's not a problem for me. Also, my hair dries quickly since the diffuser allows me to use high heat and heavy flow most of the time. The cable is also very thick and heavy. This is a large dryer and not suitable for travel. I would highly recommend this dryer to anyone with curly hair. It's well built and reliable.
