Longer life filter
AP110 filters came with my home water filter that I installed a few years ago. I've been using it ever since. However, the last time I needed to change the filter, the local store didn't have the AP110. I found a replacement that didn't have grooves like smooth sides. The swap worked, but it only lasted half as long as the AP110 before it clogged. The grooves on the side of the AP110 are more than twice the surface area of the filter. This explains why they last twice as long as a smooth replacement. I'm glad to be able to get the AP110 from Revain.
