Review on Panasonic Wings Ultra-Light Wireless Bluetooth Sport Earphones White (RP-BTS35-W) by Ken Booker

Well, that's something you should have now that 3.5mm jacks for mobile phones are passed. (Planned obsolescence at work.) They fit very well in the ultralight category and I happily wear them for hours on end on Webex/GoToMeeting or Skype. When setting it up, the instructions fooled me and I thought that the light would be on while charging, and perhaps there is in fact no such indicator on my test sample after charging. Instead, I spent two hours charging it out of the box and then attempted to pair it by unplugging the charging cable as instructed. PAIRING RESULTS (1) Mobile Phone - Pixel 2 paired quickly and easily. (2) Dell business laptop. Paired but driver not installed and device not listed as a sound device in Windows 7 Pro (firewall maybe?). (3)HP 8560W. . . No problem with Windows 10 Pro. User interface. The buttons are sleek and cool, but I had a hard time determining when they were activated. It may require some adjustments at both ends and in the middle (e.g. in a browser) to get the volume right. I would gladly sacrifice battery life for some on-demand status displays. The sound quality is difficult to rate. As with most lightweight designs, the mid to high range is pretty good, but I can barely hear the bass line in the Iron Butterfly "In the Time of Our Lives" ball when testing with the computer. The phone's performance with Google Phone was good, although this depends on which conferencing service is used. It is ideal for use as a telephone headset. BATTERY LIFE The manual says 6 hours but this depends on how you use the controls and other factors. I haven't seen the low battery indicators come on yet, but that's no surprise during the review period. My rating is based mostly on the coil attachment's weight, looks, and adjustability. In terms of sound, I prefer the Bose QuietComfort On-Ear headphones.
