My son has used these "racing" faux leather chairs for years and we change them every Christmas. Leather is always torn and we have changed several brands. I decided to give him a fabric and mesh office chair to make it really comfortable and durable. It's been two weeks since we built the chair out of the box. (Very easy if you can follow the basic instructions right out of the box.) Overall, this is quality stuff. Same type of chair used in our office and we have been using the same chair for about 3 years and all the gears work fine. This chair has height adjustment, lockable recline adjustment and tension stiffness. You can recline the chair very loosely or very tightly. There is no plastic wicker on the chair like most office chairs, they are not as comfortable as fabric, they are rough. This chair is 100% a great replacement for a racing gaming chair. Avoid these and switch to this one!
