Tested a plug in the wall and got shocked. Tested an electric fence outdoor, and got shocked.

Useless device and dangerous. Holding the device in my hand, plastic only, got shocked wherever I tested with it. The buzzer alarm is not loud enough to be heard in noisy environments!

Great tester, perfect small size, easy to use and saves a lot of time. Highly recommend

So the good news is, I''m alive, I was able to successfully test wires and not shock my self like a lab monkey trying to install some new outlets. I like that this meter has a visual display as well as sound to warn me for a live wire. The probe doubles as a screw driver which is also a nice feature. My wife approves, since she did not need to drive me to the hospital. Make your wife happy, test the wires before messing with them.
