Possible FIRE HAZARD!
I read some of the other reviews and thought "this won't happen to me". Not right! Placed on top of air compressor pump (to keep oil warm in cold weather). Luckily I kept testing it until after 9 days I found that it stopped working and apparently "shorted out" leaving a black burn mark where it was in contact with the pump! Sent it back for a refund, no problem but it should have been closed for me. I've done so well with heating so far. Before you buy, check your fire insurance coverage first.
