honestly that's sweatpants (see photo of the kid on the toilet) so they're not supposed to be Will be considered super absorbent Material used on diaper night without diapers. However, I think many parents use it for this, especially for 3-4 year olds. With that in mind, I want parents to know that this may not work for them if they want it to. They are more absorbent than I thought, except for the super absorbent polymers used in traditional brands that are loaded with chemicals. If your baby was average or a little wetter at night, this would probably work well. They're probably fine again for afternoon naps or long car rides. However, if your child is urinating heavily, you are likely to wash more than you would like and your child may wake you up in the middle of the night angrily because they are wet from the laundry spill. I have found that my son, who appears to be a 3 year old who urinates profusely, has them less than half the time but still more than once a week. My daughter wore them well when she was 2 years old but she got very wet at night and stopped peeing at night every month before she turned 3. just shows how different each child can be. we put two towels under him and as he actually refuses to wear pyjamas, it was ok that the towels covered the leak and he himself didn't seem to be wet as if the last accident that came on board so to speak was maybe , maybe just before he woke up anyway. We really make sure he uses the potty and try to limit his drinking before bed to minimize incontinence - so it's not like he goes to bed with a full bladder and that can't help him. I mean, they're not terrible in terms of absorbency, but they're not super absorbent or super absorbent in any way. We've tried normal (daytime) pull ups, which were slightly better, had some leaks, and night pull ups didn't leak at all. so this might give you an idea. If you've tried regular overnight pull-ups and they've worked great for you, they might work overnight. really not much. They don't smell like baby powder perfume like some brands I hate. and they are more natural, hooray! still end up in landfill and aren't fully biodegradable, but at least they don't gas up, god knows what, my dear little ass. it's too high in my opinion and I think it's one star for absorbency, although I think they're fine for their intended purpose as sweatpants. but it's my prerogative to have natural diaper companies make "overnight" sweatpants (stretch style) with increased absorbency, so that's my mustard.
