Review on Supreme Slider Motion Machine Quilting by Gelin Battle

Three days ago I took my slider out of the box to do some free motion quilting and this is what I found. When I put it in my machine bed it stayed crooked so it had to be lifted and moved and when I lifted the mat my machine needle pierced it. I was so frustrated because I hadn't even used the mat and now it's torn. As you know, the large rug I bought is not cheap. The rug works great, the material slides very well when sewing. I just wanted them to instruct you to remove the needle from the machine before putting the mat back in. I hope to spare all prospective buyers the mistake I made. Don't hesitate to buy but be very careful when you put the mat in place. I have contacted the company and they will replace my slider. To be fair to the company, the owner asked me if I took my foot off the car during the installation. I remember doing this because there wasn't much room to work and I exposed the needle in the process. If I had left the foot on, the presser foot would have protected the needle from damaging the slider. You must leave the presser foot on or remove the presser foot and needle before placing the slider on the machine bed. I would not hesitate to buy this company.
