Supreme Slider Motion Machine Quilting Review

I had high hopes for this product but it didn't work out. It was quite expensive for what it is and I don't think it's worth the price. I'm a quilter and need something to help my quilts slide easier on my machine by quilting the backing, batting, and quilt top together. That's a lot of stuff to move on the machine, so anything that helps it slide would be great. It has helped some, but not as much as I was hoping. I used homemade (from wallyworld ovenproof sheet) and it helped my quilting so much I asked Santa for one of the 'real' ones for Christmas. Just tried it and it's AMAZING. I think it will be worth the cost. The only problem is that it's still too small; or maybe you just need to cut the hole and place it differently on the machine. Three days ago I took my slider out of the box to do some free motion quilting and this is what I found. When I put it in my machine bed it stayed crooked so it had to be lifted and moved and when I lifted the mat my machine needle pierced it. I was so frustrated because I hadn't even used the mat and now it's torn. As you know, the large rug I bought is not cheap. The rug works great, the material slides very well when sewing.
