Review on Egg Piercer - Enhancing Durability for Long-lasting Usage by Thao Valdivieso

Definitely better than using a needle.

I've been punching holes in cooked egg shells with a pin for years, but when I saw this product and because it was relatively inexpensive I thought I'd live and get a device that would do the job for me . I'm glad I did because this thing worked way better than my pin. When I first used it I thought something was wrong because I could barely see the hole it was making. This was very different from my thumbtacking experience, which always resulted in a highly visible piece of eggshell being removed. I was concerned about getting enough water through that tiny hole to clean the egg. The tiny hole turned out to work MUCH better than my big pinhole: 95% of the eggs I cooked after using it came out of the shell without having to deal with whites sticking to the shell. And the ones that aren't quite easy to derive are actually not that hard - they just aren't perfect. I've been thinking about why a tiny hole works better than a bigger one, and I have some totally unscientific ideas as to why that might be, but in the end it doesn't matter: the thing actually works. Come on try it.
