Tested on Mettler Toledo Laboratory Balance

Took to work and tested on my quality check scale. I was surprised that he was actually able to measure a tiny 0.10 gram piece of styrofoam and measure it correctly. Very accurate throughout. Some readings. Mettler Toledo Scale./Greater Good1 Scale. 0.10g/0.1g2. 5.79g / 5.8g3. 127.67g / 127.7g4. 387.77/387.85. 742.55/742.7. Around the weight limit, he deviated by 0.1 grams. Damn good for $18. A few words on accuracy. My measurements at work go down to hundredths of a gram, which for me is a significant difference. Once I get down to 0.1g and below, static electricity and airflow become very important. Some of the minor discrepancies that people report can be as simple as a puff of air or static electricity skewing the readings. A lack of level will also distort readings on this scale. If static electricity is a problem, you can wipe and eliminate the object to be measured with a dry cloth. At work, I use a stream of ionized air to remove static from samples. Supplied with lead-acid batteries. Amazing scale and accuracy in my sample. Feels solid and well made. hope it lasts If you don't need more resolution than a tenth of a gram, this is a good choice.
