Rating update (below original rating): After my review, the company contacted me to see how they could fix the situation. They offered to send replacement or refund the money. I have changed my rating to 4 stars to reflect good customer service. For now, I'll definitely give them another chance next time I'm looking for an air pump. I bought this pump looking for a solution with an automatic backup in case of a power outage. This would be the ideal solution if things continued like this. It was connected all the time and I've only unplugged and plugged it back in a few times in the last 5 months. About a week ago I had to move and turn off the pump. When I plugged it back in, I saw that the pins for the microUSB connector were missing and it was just a case. The pump was tight when it worked, but it didn't last long. It does not charge and cannot be powered. Essentially dead. What a disappointment.
