Review on Apple IPhone 8 by Ha Joon

Revainrating 3 out of 5

In general, its pretty good, an equal number of pros and cons.

What follows is a letter to potential buyers of this model, detailing the flaws that plagued me and proved crucial to my experience. Having owned largely blackberries and a little Sony before this iPhone, as well as an iPad for a good while and considering it the near-perfect device in my collection, I got this iPhone with the assumption that it would be just as good as my iPad. So, the phone has a really unusual noise reduction method, which, as far as I can tell, is not an issue with my specific unit but rather the most recent firmware update. When this option is selected, the user will hear all the ambient noise in their chat partner, regardless of whether or not they are in a quiet environment. Of course, this doesn't occur all the time, but it does occur. The likelihood of successfully deciphering the other subscriber's message at this time is incredibly low. This is frustrating and obviously a blockage; turning off the noise reduction helps a little, but some noise is still transmitted to the speaker. Curious, it didn't occur with any of the other phones we tried. The conversational speaker, on the other hand, is notably muddled; increasing the volume does not improve the situation. This is analogous to the way that, in regular headphones, when the music is of high quality, the accompanying conversation is either muffled or inaudible at normal listening levels. It's not the operator; I tested it on three others and got the same result. This brings us to the modem. It seems that the most recent models are equipped with Intel CPUs, thus fans of fast LTE will be disappointed as well. Another wise person confirmed that this modem does not release at speeds more than 130 Mbps, despite the fact that the average speed in this area is 200 Mbps or more. Additionally, problems arise while using an iPad with a tethered or hotspot connection. Although the posted speed limit is already quite high, it has been further reduced. As an example, let's assume an iPhone's speedtest reveals 60 Mbps outbound but only 30 Mbps in modem mode, with the device rapidly discharging and becoming considerably hot in the process. Unfortunately, this is not a problem on other smarts, and the legs there presumably grow from Intel modems. As a result, you'll be in a lot of pain if you use tel. for these purposes, the device probably won't make it until night, and you might be able to fry an egg.

Pros
  • iOS and app sophistication; camera/screen/ecosystem/visual/acoustic/brand/assembly/sound quality;
Cons
  • Intel-based chipsets (more below), a diminutive display, muddy audio, and an insufficient 2 GB of storage space.
