This is a really good backpack for a day trip. It has a classic style with a modern utility. The material is a soft but durable canvas on the outside with a smooth polyester lining on the inside. Seams and zippers are well finished and reinforced at stress points. I love that it folds up to pack in my suitcase. It opens wide and holds a 32-ounce stainless steel water bottle, a light jacket, an iPad mini, charging cables, and a bunch of other things I like to have with me when I travel. I also like the old world style - a much less touristy look. The wide shoulder straps are comfortable to carry all day long. The straps can be worn in three different ways: as a backpack, with the top straps connected closer to the middle, as a handbag or crossbody, and with backpack straps connected at the top corners. They keep you comfortable and comfortable all day long.
