Review on πŸ“€ Toshiba SD-4960: Ultimate Universal DVD Player for CD/DVD-Audio/SACD/MP3 Playback by Solomon Inks

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent sound quality and playback of SACD and DVD AUDIO

I am a big fan of Panasonic DVD players and have never owned them used many more until I found this player somewhere really cheap so thought I'd buy it as a backup for my Panasonic. Some things I learned about this player sounds amazing at first and also my $250.00 panasonic, picture too, it's beautiful player thin and silver. A few bad things and the reason it's still just a backup for my Panasonic is that the remote control is a terrible plan Keys in the dark with all sorts of practice and no options you can't even turn the time around to see how much time is left on the DVD or CD. If you don't need all the bells and whistles and just want a good picture with great sound, this is a great choice if you're more tech-savvy and prefer more bells and whistles (color management, bitmap, one-touch cinematic video, dialog enhancer, digital noise reduction, etc .) etc.), buy a Panasonic s77s or 47s model. I can highly recommend this despite the shortcomings described above, picture and sound are fine.

Pros
  • ColorStream progressive component video output for excellent picture quality DVD (with HD or HD capable TV)
Cons
  • Senior Citizen
