Another fan controller no longer connects to motherboard

The fans are great and make a bit of noise as they are always running at MAX speed since they are not connected to AC power. motherboard. The motherboard determines the fan speed based on the internal temperature. When it gets hot they go up, and when your computer is idle they slow down and (should) be virtually silent at max speed given the low noise. But I will say they are definitely noticeable in headphones in their current state, they are not as quiet as advertised although my old fans were literally on their last legs whining the whole time and being SO loud so this is music in my ears. in comparison. I just don't want to say they're "quiet" or really "quiet" when they really make noise. I went to Newegg and bought another RGB controller that plugs into the RGB header on the motherboard to allow the fans to slow down a bit. I believe this will also help extend their lives even more. All in all, although I accidentally turned one of the fans upside down (needs to be fixed), I think the pros and cons are as follows: Pros: Gorgeous/bright color around the fan Not as noisy as other brands , but still noisy . (I think that can also be considered a disadvantage?) I really liked the adhesive on the back of the controller, which makes it easier to peel off. Most people can find/use a SATA connection with their PSU (I didn't connect a reset button and it works fine). Cheaper than most brands but feels high quality! They help my computer better than my DarkForce I tried some time ago. The controller is very responsive as long as you install the fans in slots 1-3 first. I initially did 4-6 because they fit better in the case but found that RGB wouldn't work that way. Cons: The fan screws were a joke! They got undressed even when I was SO careful. If you have higher quality and similar sized screws I would recommend just using those, having done this I had no trouble installing the fans. (However, if you tear off the screws, note that you can use a drill press without a drill bit or similar; put the little knobs on the inside of the drill clamp onto the screw and unscrew the screw the way it worked for me!) Not connected to the motherboard, which allows them to constantly work at maximum speed. When I bought them I was looking for QUIET fans. Non-fans like"quiet but not very". (I think with the $10 controller I bought for 6-pin fans, a 4-pin fan connector would solve this problem! But fan vendors or manufacturers should consider adding a motherboard connection option.) - -- TLDR A: The screws suck (use your own if you have one), the RGB is GREAT, setup was relatively easy, and while the fans aren't silent, they're quieter than other brands. I definitely recommend this product, but maybe with a different fan controller. This will work for now, although it will take 2-3 weeks to get the controller I bought here. A bit disappointed that I had to buy another one but still happy and satisfied with the quality of the fans. They are big fans and do a great job for the price. Would it give 5 stars if the controller was connected to the motherboard :P
