Review on Saucony Peregrine 10 GTX Trail Running Shoe for Men by Jason Lockwood

Revainrating 5 out of 5

more carefree than the peregrine falcon 8 . Strain in the wrong direction for the peregrine lineage.

The previous version of Peregrine (8) was more like a runner, but this (Peregrine 10) is more like a sloppy workaholic. Feels like a Brooks Beast with an added plastic shell that supports the heel. If you roll this shoe sideways, the liner appears to slip off the outer and you lose momentum entirely. The outsole is also less grippy than the Peregrine 8, so it slides off rocks. To be clear, 8 had issues (the only longevity) but 10 is a drag in the wrong direction for the wander line.
