I know this product doesn't get a high rating. I used it on an 1800 mile trip with my small trailer and it did everything I expected it to do. It has eliminated all play between the ball mount and receiver and completely eliminated all bumps and bumps that you normally have to deal with. Please note this is ONLY FOR the 1-1/4" HOLLOW ball joint! Installation is simple. Insert into the ball joint, gently insert into the socket, insert the screw and pull You tighten it by hand, tighten it with a wrench (3/4" if I remember correctly) then put the pin in the hole in the bolt. We use a hitch when we're not using a trailer, and it mounts perfectly every time.I also like that everything is inside as opposed to those that attach to the bracket and receiver from the outside.Really high quality, strong and useful product that doesn't get the attention it deserves in the reviews I would happily buy again.
