Works like a flat iron should. It's a nice light purple color which makes it a little more fun. It lies comfortably in the hand and is easy to use. I love that the long swivel cord makes this even easier. The cord also has a Velcro closure for easy storage. It heats up very quickly. It also comes with some pretty accessories. You will be given two travel/storage options. There is a nice velvet pouch or a hard case. You also get a comb, two clips, a heat-resistant glove and a booklet that shows you how to achieve certain hairstyles. I tested the glove to make sure it really works. It really helps, although you really don't want to leave your hand there for too long. Perfect for those casual accents, although honestly I never forget to put it on first. The power button and the temperature display are clearly visible. It's a good item, much cheaper than many other options that seem to offer the same thing.
