Unbelievable price! I only needed a laptop to write articles (author) so I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I ordered this refurbished model one evening and it arrived the next morning! When I first turned on the laptop I felt a little overwhelmed because it wants to teach you everything and guide you through many things by telling you everything and not just giving you hints on the screen. I went through this process for a few minutes before looking for a way to skip it lol. I noticed that when I started clicking and hovering over items, the laptop was still telling me everything! It took me a while but I was finally able to figure out how to disable this voice! For example, when I clicked on Google, the laptop loudly said "OPEN GOOGLE!". Then I searched for a website and when it loaded the laptop started reading me all the information about the website! Although it annoys me, it would be a great tool for people with low vision. Also, this laptop has many features that I found amazing! I use my hotspot on my phone to run the internet on my laptop and the laptop actually syncs with my phone! That way all my login information and saved passwords were easily accessible! My phone and laptop are essentially one 🙃 two devices with one mind. Even when I'm using my laptop, all my incoming text messages appear right on my laptop screen. This allows me to read and respond to people while working on my laptop. Pretty cool. I bought it to write stories but ended up using it for so much more! From social networking, shopping, surfing the web, listening to music and watching movies and shows! I'll add that while the annoying robotic voice screams whatever you're doing, the speakers aren't loud at all with the setting enabled. You need a Bluetooth speaker to watch things or listen to music. I watch Prime and Netflix on this laptop connected to my phone's hotspot and the screen is very sharp and high definition. Just like looking at a small TV screen. Just make sure you have an extra speaker unless you're listening in dead silence lol.
