Didn't need any of the adapters, everything looked like high quality brass. The packaging looked new but the antenna had shreds as if it had been installed before, but that doesn't really bother me. This happened to a 2005 Explorer, I put new tires on it a few days ago, so with a $20 antenna, the cost of the car tripled. Lol it picks up the radio stations I listen to, I'm very happy it's made my car a little less wrecked!
