Good people. first thing. let's be cool and call the green Hammerton; Retro. (laughs) Just started using it. I like it. Extremely ergonomic. The hinge attached to the lid has a good reason. Easy to take, open, drink, close and put back. These Stanley thermoses are just as good as the others. And you don't pay too much either. I had a retired farmer from Iowa who begged me to bring his old Stanley thermos. Said it was too good for him. All those days on the tractor, plowing etc. But now he's retired. The woman wanted him to throw it away. I accepted it. I've been using it for several years now. Still works great in sub-zero temperatures to triple the temperature. It's all beat up. Dents galore. For me it is beautiful. . I got this as a companion. Needed a serious "cup" to work. I also have Stanley Stein. I just liked the way he looked. Let's see how I use it. I love the old fashioned value. Kind of a rebellious statement against all new hickeys. Stanley just works.
