True to the K&N name, using this filter in my 1996 Ford F-250 (XLT, 460, Manual) got me 2mpg on the first full tank. My test wasn't scientific and the temperature wasn't cold enough to require a longer warm-up, so that may have played a big part. I have always bought K&N filters for my cars because of their "recyclability". It saves me money and keeps a dirty filter in the landfill. I can't talk about performance gains because I don't have a dyno and to be honest horsepower isn't as important to me as better fuel economy and fewer filters.
