Review on Cricut 12X24 StrongGrip Cutting Mat by Jessica Lewis

I specially ordered a Strong Grip cutting mat because I wanted it to last longer than the standard mat. However, when my product arrived I could immediately tell that the grip/stickiness of this mat was not what I expected as the clear protective film on the mat slipped off when I took it out of the box it came in. At one point I thought I might have ordered a light rug by mistake, but as you can see from one of the pictures, that's not the case. I used a mat to cut a sheet of vinyl and the edges of the vinyl would not adhere to the mat in certain spots, even after pressing hard a few times. This mat, new out of the box, has less grip than my standard used mat. I am very disappointed in this product.
