Almost identical to the installed OEM device. Fits perfectly. Works the same, but the price is much better. The plastic cover around my OEM unit was a bit tricky to work with and played the same awkward role in reinstalling the replacement unit. I took many preliminary shots with my phone to reproduce the exact location of the reinstall. After 10 minutes of fiddling, the mine snapped into place perfectly. My original diode tested fine but as this purchase came with a brand new diode which also looked identical I replaced the diode as well. This is a very easy task as you have already removed the sides of the device. In addition to taking photos, I suggest you mark each side you remove with masking tape and use a high-contrast permanent marker to mark all the holes you removed the screws from. I kept the screws in separate cups on each side according to the side label. There are a lot of holes that don't get filled so you need to know exactly which holes to fill and which to leave empty, also the screws are different on each side and I wanted to make sure I put the right screws back in the right holes stuck . This process of tagging and saving to a specific page helped me with that.
