Review on Richards Homewares Commercial Garment Rack Chrome by Tim Harrington

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy to build, durable and strong.

Based on reviews from others and looking at many different hangers I decided on this one and am very pleased so far. The box the rack came in was boxed in an outer carton so it arrived in perfect condition. It took me less than 10 minutes to assemble. I found the instructions very clear. A screwdriver is required to attach the two clips to the bottom bar. If you don't want to fold the frame, you don't need clips. The height is easy to adjust, but I would recommend removing all clothing before adjusting. We have about 50 plus size t-shirts on the shelf, there is room for more and the bottom bars fit a box or two. for additional storage space. I haven't tried rolling the rack but I don't think there will be a problem if the load is evenly distributed. I tried to get an accurate answer as to how long the poles were prior to purchasing the stand but was unsuccessful so here are the measurements: With both extensions in place the pole is 50 inches long. EACH end can be pulled out approximately 11 inches for a possible total length of 72 inches. Despite the fact that the extensions seem to be quite strong, I wouldn't hang heavy coats on them, instead using them for lighter things (now I have spare hangers in there).
