I used to buy only these "Daylight" bulbs, but apparently I'm very tired of them. Now I prefer these "Soft White" bulbs. Of course, these bulbs sometimes take a minute or two to warm up to full brightness, but I don't care. The alternative is far worse in my opinion: I had a bad experience buying CFLs at a local big store. They make lightbulbs with a halogen "start" bulb so they're "instant on" or something. But the problem is that after the CFL part has warmed up properly, the smaller halogen starter lamp goes out and therefore the actual brightness decreases significantly. This happens about 90 seconds after turning it on and is incredibly stupid and annoying. These bulbs certainly don't have that problem and I would prefer to wait a bit from time to time for these CFLs to warm up. Seriously, it's not a big problem at all. I don't remember the brand of those other horrible lamps but I hated them and wouldn't recommend these lamps if you ever come across them. I will definitely continue to buy these lamps in the future if the price stays good and they have a decent lifespan. I don't know if the photo helps, I hope so!
