I always use wrapping paper as the last step when wrapping anything. In the first step I wrap them with tissue paper. Second I wrap it with the right size bubble wrap, third step I finish wrapping it with this paper. The heavier the items, use two or three sheets. You can write what is in the article to unpack first. I have never broken an important heirloom or anything using this method. If I packed "layers" in a box, I put 2-3 sheets between the layers for stability. Paper has always been used for its high strength and excellent insulating properties.
