My cats don't really like darker chunks. They eat the lighter bites, but they only like pies. I agree with them. It seems to have gotten better. I will no longer buy slices or fillets. I have a lot of these and prefer the large 60 can pie at Costco. I have a very old cat and now she has canned chicken or mackerel for many days. She is fragile and eats other cat food but not as well. The other three can also be picky eaters. They eat kibble, but I find that's not always best for them, so they get at least one can of wet food and then kibble.
