Review on TECLAST M40 Tablet Android Octa Core by Mike Lunde

I wrote a ¢quick review for this tablet first. Sure, it's durable and has more RAM and storage than tablets at comparable prices. The metal frame was also an attractive feature. Mine arrived in just a few days and booted up to install/migrate stuff from my Android phone - did a good job and avoided a lot of annoying Google junk - Firefox runs fine on it. I've added many apps including a car diagnostics app which is great with a bigger screen than a phone. Everything was just great until I turned it off - after 2 hours it was still in "off" mode. I had to reset it with a small pin through the hole on the side next to the up/down button. The same when restarting, all attempts went into eternal shutdown mode. This immediately downgraded his status to undesirable. I contacted the Revain customer support chat and told the rep about it. In no time at all they sent me return instructions and arranged for another to be delivered a few days later - quite an impressive and efficient service. I did a factory reset to erase all my personal data. to redo the setting. This time it worked and I tried to cancel the replacement order. So far it has worked fine and shut down/rebooted as expected. The UNISOC Tiger T618 processor is slightly faster and newer than the Qualcom Snapdragon 450 in my LG phone/. I'm not really into "gaming" but this tablet does a great job with everything I need! You can pay more for less, but this is the best deal I've found, especially with the $30 savings.
