Necessary hardware for your gaming PC to use next-gen Wi-Fi 6

Wow. I wasn't expecting such a dramatic increase in network performance. I've used an ASUS Wi-Fi 5 USB flash drive in the past, which took about 12ms, 112Mbps upload, 40Mbps upload. Now, with this PCIe Wi-Fi 6 network card, I get about 6 times more networking experience. It pulls 9-10ms, 620Mbps upload, 41Mbps upload (I have a 1Gbps Xfinity service and this PC is in a room). I didn't read the manual, I read other people's reviews and was able to install mine in less than 5 minutes. 1) Download and install "Intel Driver Support Assistant” on your PC. 2) Shut down the computer completely and install the network card in one of the PCIe slots (I used the smaller slot I had on the motherboard. I also didn't install the USB cable as I already have a Bluetooth Got receiver to work with my Bluetooth devices .) 3) Turn on the computer and the Intel software will automatically detect your new (Intel) NIC l. The trick here is that you need to temporarily either connect your computer to the router or use an old WiFi flash drive to connect your computer to the internet to allow the Intel software to download and install the correct drivers. And that's pretty much it, if there's anything else I'll update and keep you posted. But so far so good.
