Review on πŸ—„οΈ Effortlessly Organize with DYMO Organizer Xpress Handheld Embossing Label Maker (12965) by Johnny Moger

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Bad feed mechanism, failed on day one, disassembled for repair.

It really is a piece of junk. I seem happier than most people who have left 1 star reviews. I received a total of 30-40 decent quality labels from this machine before it jammed and stopped feeding. I took the tape out of the machine and tried to put it back in, but I couldn't get the machine to feed the tape. I noticed that someone had already provided disassembly instructions in a negative review, so I decided to decide when in doubt and see if I can fix the issue. Aha! It turned out that there should be a small black rubber ring on the feed wheel. After I put the rubber ring back on the feed wheel and reassembled the device, it miraculously worked again. It looks like the manufacturer knows this is a bug on these devices as I saw a tiny dot of white epoxy on the rubber ring that appeared to be trying to hold the ring to the wheel. As shown in the attached pictures, this obviously didn't work. I bought this machine to replace an old dymo embossing labeller I've owned in the past that has lasted for many years. It's really disappointing how much the quality of products from established companies like Dymo have suffered over the past decade. To everyone reading this and working at Dymo, is there at least one thing you can take away from my review? and fix your fucking feed mechanism? Many Thanks. I'm not sure what order the images load in, but one is before the problem and the other is after I fix it. I hope it's clear what's what.
