These pants are unlined and lightweight. They have deep pockets and a drawstring and elastic waist. They look and feel so much better than jeans, especially in the heat. Great option if you want something nicer than shorts, but almost as cool.I machine wash cold then run them a half cycle in the dryer to get rid of wrinkles and pull them out to finish drying hanging up to avoid shrinkage of the linen. They do run a little on the long side. Does not wrinkle too badly from sitting. Will be buying as another pair in another color.
