I got tired of charging my previous headlight and sometimes forgot. So I bought this flashlight to use directly with my electric bike's 48V battery. The lamp is compact and bright enough for the money. It's fine if you're primarily using it for nighttime use and illuminating the road ahead. But it doesn't have a blink or strobe mode; Having one of these modes is desirable for daytime use as a safety light to attract driver attention. Bright flashing light attracts much more attention in sunlight, consumes less power and provides an important safety factor. The seller was very responsive, seemed genuinely interested in making me happy, and promised to pass my suggestions along to his designers. Excellent customer service.
