Review on Kenmore & LG 4681EA2001T Washer Drain Pump Motor By Beaquicy - OEM Replacement Part by Adam Davidson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect in every way

The washer drain pump motor in our 18 Year old LGWM2277HW died Saturday evening July 2nd. That's right, if an appliance is going to fail there's an unwritten rule that says it must be always be on weekend and if at all possible a weekend before a holiday. The big parts suppliers wanted $55 to $76 and direct from LG would be $34 and like the others it was going to take take a week or more. I've bought OEM parts on Ebay in the past and gave it a shot. I type in the part number and up pops a dozen sellers but one would deliver the next morning (Sunday) between 7 and 11 A.M. Not only that, at $25.77 it was the lowest price anywhere and an OEM part identical to the one I took out.At 7:40 Sunday morning the drain pump motor was sitting at my door and 35 minutes later my #1 girl was doing a load of laundry that she thought would be sitting on the laundry room floor till sometime next week.

Pros
  • ok
Cons
  • Lack of durability and longevity
