This is an amazing scanner. There are a few things you need to know about how to do this. To save to a network folder: A.) If you want to save to a server, you need to know how to access the server. b. ) you should be able to easily access your scanner via its IP address on your server a) type its IP address in a browser window (you can find this in the connected devices section of your router interface) b) in the top left type Corner the password which it said in your user manual i) I would recommend setting this scanner to a static IP address (one that doesn't change every time you restart your router) C.) You can have 25 folders a) at the bottom of each preinstall page you need to enter credentials like when accessing your server location ie your computer login or if it is a server hard drive on your router you need to enter your router username and password. I wasn't very impressed with the PC interface, but for me it was all about that little touch screen so I don't have to sit at the computer. The one-touch presets are great too, and if you set them up properly, they can truly be one-touch, which helps take out some of the monotony. It's easy once you get the hang of it, there's a USB option too. I can connect to my archive room and start turning the banker's drawers into flash drives. Hallelujah. I don't have cloud accounts but if I get one I'll update my review. It's a great device for me, but I'm more than just tech-savvy. There is also a USB option.
