I am a professional wedding and portrait photographer. I specialize in high quality artistic images. I've done a lot of internet research looking for a cheap, fast, quality printer that I can use to print 4" x 6" souvenir prints for wedding guests. I bought this little yellow bucket Canon printer about 3 weeks before the big wedding show and was excited to try it out at Brides Shopping. Every bride who came to my booth had the opportunity to take a picture and take a souvenir print home. I was a bit nervous as I have NEVER printed locally let alone new products and experimented with over 3000 potential new customers. .I was great in this little printer. He worked almost continuously for 6 hours. Print individually. I ended up printing about 200 prints that day. I used a Canon 5D Mark II camera, wirelessly powered a studio flash, hooked up a cable to a Canon Selphy printer and simply used the option to print directly from the LCD display. Pros: Small and portable, SUPER easy to use (print directly from Canon camera or memory card), good print quality. I printed straight from the camera and didn't realize until the beginning that I couldn't take another shot until the current image was printed. This was a major disadvantage as I had a very long line of brides queuing to take photos. I didn't exactly time it, but I think each print takes a minute or more to finish. Considering other products in this price range, this was the perfect printer for the job. All I have to do is order a second one and get two cameras up and running the next time I have an event this big.
