I have Echo Show and Cube and it's much better, bigger screen is clearer and YouTube is built in unlike all Revain's Alexa devices. I'm really enjoying it so far, the video and audio quality is top notch and every Alexa function I've tried works well. Even a screensaver mode that shows your Facebook photos comes in handy. UPDATE: After a few days of use I'm feeling almost the same as above EXCEPT after some tests and questions, many more advanced Alexa features like messaging, login, ring/blink indicator and other cameras, a connected speaker system to sync with others Alexa may never appear. So my thoughts on calling this the best Alexa device might change as it only has really basic Alexa commands. UPDATE: I hate to say this, but I'm bringing it back in favor of the 2nd Gen Echo Show. $400 after tax is a lot when it lacks many of the Alexa features and abilities I mentioned in my other update. If you do really, really, and I mean REALLY a lot of Facebook video chats, the 2nd Gen Echo Show is just a much better Alexa device in almost every way, plus you can still video chat with it, it is only the camera does not follow. After you. $375-$400 after taxes and all, I can't just wait and hope to see what's added. I can always buy it again if it ever becomes the best Alexa device.
