The question arises as to which bulb you should buy, as there is a limit of 25 or 26 watts. At the moment I'm using Exo Terra bulbs, a Sun Glo 25w on the other end, a CFL UVB 26w on the other and a CFL UVA 26w on the other. Room temperature is 75 degrees, tank temperature is 77.5 degrees on the non-light end and 83 degrees on the hot end as measured with a probe near the heating point about 4 inches below the light. I wish the warm side was even warmer, so I ordered another compact, lightweight canopy to put in front of the first. I'll pop in another 25w SunGlo bulb to try and raise the temp where it's getting hot. In the end, all I had to do was buy downward facing dome units and put a high wattage heat lamp inside. Although I like the aesthetics of this device. It really decorates the terrarium. It has 2 switches. One turns on the bulbs at each end and the other switch controls the two bulbs in the middle.
