The first complaint. These items are made of a fairly durable material, similar to hard rubber. They are packed in a ziplock bag. The smell from them is really strong and unpleasant. I can't describe it very well, but very poignant. I tried washing them in soapy water hoping to reduce or eliminate the smell but that didn't work. Maybe it reduced the smell a bit but still very bad. Also, the "cup" diameter of my bushing is slightly smaller than those slotted washers. So he didn't get in, but sat on my jack. After using it once, I developed a fairly deep groove on the underside of the jack pad. Not sure how long that will take. Not being suitable for my application is up to me, not the supplier - I didn't measure it prior to purchase.
