I am a light connoisseur. It doesn't matter if it can be lamps, sconces, table lamps, lamps under cabinets or above. I am very special. The things I'm looking for are light temperature, brightness/lumens, adjustability (dimming and light color and beam direction). These lights are beam adjustable - I can tilt them to a good range which helps direct the light where I want it on the counter. high. These lamps are colour-adjustable. While many applications (3000k, 4000k or higher) tend to have cool white light, I can't stand cool white light. I like the color/temperature of the light in the 2700K range. It's easier on the eyes and more natural. With these lights you can get used to the pleasantly warm light. I'll probably never use higher K lighting, but it's available if you need it. (the photo shows the light is a little cold due to reflection off the tabletop, but personally they are spot on) These spotlights are not dimmable in the light - there is a high and a low, but I hardwired them, and I did think I could turn on the dimmer if I wanted to, although I haven't tried. The packaging was a bit poor, but the bulbs arrived intact and with all the parts I needed for a hardwired installation. I am very happy with these lights. They do everything I want in under cabinet kitchen lighting at a very reasonable price.
