This is perfect for reading. I am a huge reader and can't go a day without it. This is the perfect pillow for that. I am 5'2 and the pillows height on me is exactly as pictured. The pillow looks as pictured and is what I expected. The only reason it lost a star for me was because of the head pillow. It is loosely attached with 2 buttons so you can remove it if you want to. But the loops the buttons are on are super loose causing the head pillow to flop back and forth. I was expecting the head pillow to stay put more than what it does. If order to have the head pillow upright, it has to be leaning on something. The head pillow also isn't as round as pictured. It's more of an oval shape. My pillow was pretty crushed in the packaging and I thought that was why, but it never went back to the shape it was supposed to be. Other than that, this is a great pillow. It's very comfortable and supportive. It's not to stiff or soft. It's more like a medium-firm pillow. The arm on the right has a little pocket you can put your phone in, or whatever you like. It's not a huge pocket, but it's still handy. I like that I can wash the cover easily when dirty. Overall, it's a great pillow! I love it!
