I haven't broken a needle yet, so I'm either really good at felting (no) or good quality needles I tend to think. I also like wood holders. I have another holder for 3 needle sizes. They are comfortable in my hand, which may prevent me from breaking the needles. This set is a bargain and I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
